Claira Marie Heins

Claira’s first cousin, once removed Jordan Charette turned 22 on June 22nd.  His parents planned a nice birthday party for him.  In attendance were Me, Claira, uncle Marc, Eric Mongrain (cousin) and of course the great uncle and great aunt Gerry and Joanne Charette.  The occasion was celebrated with burgers on the Q and a cake. 

Me, Dad and Claira spent the week at the cottage.  We only had one day of awesome weather, but it didn’t stop us from having fun.  Claira spent most days in her swing listening to classical music watching the trees sway and napping,

Well after a year in Kanata, it is time for uncle Marc to move out on his own.  Nonna and Pepere were on hand to help with the move along with Daddy and Mike Stuart.

On June 26th, we packed up the Focus and headed to Deep River for a visit with Cliff, Jen and Julie. 

On June 20th, aunt Stacy and uncle Jon welcomed their second son into the world.  Evan was welcomed by all.  Me and Claira went to visit Evan in the hospital. Later we went to grandma Heins’ house and hung out with Evan’s big brother Nathan.

After two weeks in Sudbury, it was finally time to head back home to Ottawa.  It had been two weeks since dad had seen his little poopie.  Nonni and Pepere were sad to see Claira go, they have already planned a visit to Ottawa in a couple weeks to see her again.

On Friday June 4th it was Pepere’s 56th birthday.  As he had a bodybuilding engagement to attend in Sault Ste-Marie; the girls (Nonni, Nonna, Me and Claira) decided to go the Swiss Chalet for dinner.

While in Sudbury, we have been going to Nonni’s everyday for lunch.  Claira sleeps through most visits, sometimes she wakes up for a short period just to say hello.

Claira’s Nonna and Pepere have come to visit from Saturday May 22nd to Sunday May 30th, 2010.  It has been a while since they have had a baby around, as I had to re-teach them how to ch
